H7 Night Tech Twin Pack Halogen Bulbs

Headlight Bulb Replacement Guide

The Night-Tech line of high output replacement bulbs from PIAA features several advancements in performance, durability, and manufacturing. Through the use of a unique mix of gasses including a higher proportion of inert gasses as well as a new filament material these bulbs offer up to 90% more light than a conventional bulb with a greater life span. The gasses, filament material, and coatings on the bulbs offer a color temperature in the 3600 Kelvin range for a whiter output than standard bulbs and retain a DOT/SAE approval. The unique dual band bulb coatings not only create a whiter light but a brighter, longer range (up to 35 meters) output when compared to other replacement bulbs.

Pros:
Cons:
My wife's car, it was a special order but we didn't think the $900 light upgrade option was worth it. She just couldn't see driving at night. I tried everything but at last tried the PIAA Night Tech Halogen bulbs. They produce significantly more light and don't violate the BMW power monitor computer. I had tried LED bulbs but they didn't draw enough current and the car thought the bulbs were blown. More wattage bulbs draw too much power and this is a violation of the power computer. The PIAA bulbs produce more light without violating the power computer. Perfect.
